Hug in a Jug

Hug in a Jug was created to serve the needs of our senior community isolated from their families and friends during the covid-19 pandemic. We deliver a Hug in a Jug - homemade soup (& full dinners), seasoned with love, support, and companionship.

We bring love and warmth to seniors who are holocaust survivors, recovering from an illness or injury, live alone and are "shut-ins", and others who just need a friendly "pick-me-up" and some company.

Our Mission

What starts as a simple soup delivery becomes a long lasting relationship between our volunteers and our seniors.
