• Chabad avoids labeling other Jews, since it tends to divide and create artificial barriers between us.
• Jewish Law considers anyone born of a Jewish mother or converted in accordance with Halacha to be a Jew, regardless of his or her degree of observance.

• classes, programs, and services designed to heighten awareness and lend valuable insight into our heritage, traditions, laws and rituals.

• an individual in need. Chabad is there for them providing stability, guidance, counseling. Referring to professionals when needed.

5. Chabad strongly supports Israel and is deeply involved in defending its importance and right to exist.

 6. Chabad Houses in the US and internationally must support themselves financially.

• There is no 'cashbox' at Chabad HQ in Brooklyn.
• Each Chabad House is supported by the community it serves - funding for local Chabad programs is generated locally. 
• No money or dues are sent to Chabad headquarters in Brooklyn - all funds donated remain right here in our community.
